Business Meetings
Council business meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month in the St. Joseph parish hall. Meetings start at 7:00 pm.
If the snow emergency plan is in effect, the meeting will be postponed, and will be rescheduled by the Grand Knight
Social Meetings
Social meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month in the parish hall. Check the Calendar page for details.
Country Style Breakfasts
The council sponsors a country style breakfast buffet on the second Sunday of each month from September through June. Breakfasts are held in the St. Joseph parish hall from 7 am to noon.
Cost: $6 for adults, $3.50 for children ages 7 to 10. Free for children ages 6 and under.
Arrive between 7 am and 8 am for the Early Bird Special. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 7 to 10.
Red Cross Blood Drives
Our council sponsors several Red Cross blood drives everal times during the year. These are held at the Taneytown Fire Company Activities Building, located near Taneytown Memorial Park.
Council Picnic
During the summer months, our council holds its annual Council Picnic. Members and prospective members and their families are all welcome to attend.
Annual Spaghetti Dinner
During the Fall, our council sponsors a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser. The proceeds support our council's Charitable and Service programs in our Parish and our community.
State Council Car/Truck Raffle
Each year from May through September, our council, along with others in the state of Maryland, sells raffle tickets for the chance to win a new car or truck. Our council sells tickets at several carnivals and grocery stores in the Taneytown area, as well as after several Masses. All proceeds from this fundraiser go to support our council's Charitable and Service programs in our Parish and our community.
Tootsie Roll Fundraiser
Each year, our council, along with councils all over the world, participates in the Tootsie Roll fundraiser that benefits numerous organizations that assist and support persons with Intellectual Disabilities.
